Contact molded (hand lay-up) FRP piping systems provide the optimal piping system for handling hot, aggressive, extremely corrosive liquids at pressures up to 150 psi and temperatures up to 250 degree F.   The critical part of any FRP piping laminate is the corrosion barrier.  Industry standards call for the corrosion barrier of FRP piping to be a minimum 100 mils thickness constructed using a V,2M laminate sequence.  Since the FRP pipe and fittings are fabricated using  essentially the same materials of construction throughout the laminate sequence and the same methods of construction, an FRP piping system fabricated using the hand lay-up method provides the absolute optimum in corrosion resistance.

Other FRP systems may be less expensive BUT none perform better in  hot, aggressive, extremely corrosive service environments.
